Decree of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic No. 53/1993 Coll.,

as of 15^th January 1993,

which lays down the amount of the hallmarking fees and the method of payment thereof as amended by Decree No. 364/2003 Coll.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic pursuant to § 3 letter d) Act of the Czech National Council No. 19/1993 Coll. on the State Administration Bodies of the Czech Republic in the Field of the Hallmarking and the Testing of Precious Metals (hereinafter referred to as "Act") lays down the following:  

§ 1

The hallmarking fees the amounts of which are laid down by the Tariff which forms the Annex hereto are collected for the actions executed by the Assay Office pursuant to § 6 par. 2 Act.

§ 2

The hallmarking fees are due in cash on the release of the products of precious metals¹⁾ or other objects made from the precious metals²⁾ the actions of the Assay Office were related to or as the case may be at the issue of the certificate, expert’s opinion or the administrative findings, unless different method of payment has been agreed upon with the Assay Office.

§ 3

The Regulation of the Minister of Metallurgy and Heavy Engineering of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic No. 11/1985, pursuant to which the Tariff is announced of the fees for the actions of the civil service for the precious metals, set forth in Chapter 33/1985 Coll., is rendered null and void.

§ 4

The Decree comes into force on the day of its publication.

Decree No. 364/2003 Coll.,

which amends Decree No. 53/1993 Coll. pursuant to which the amount of the hallmarking fees and the method of payment thereof are laid down as amended

The Ministry of Industry and Trade pursuant to § 3 letter d) Act No. 19/1993 Coll. on the State Administration Bodies of the Czech Republic in the Field of the Hallmarking and the Testing of Precious Metals lays down the following:

Article I

The Decree No. 53/1993 Coll. which lays down the amount of the hallmarking fees and the method of payment thereof, as amended by Decree No. 67/1995 Coll. and Decree No.  325/2000 Coll., is amended as follows:

The hitherto Annex including the Tariff of Hallmarking Fees is superseded by the enclosed Annex including the new Tariff of Hallmarking Fees.

Article II

Transitional Provision

The fees for the actions of the Assay Office made pursuant to § l for which the orders are placed before the Decree herein comes into force shall be collected pursuant to the present Tariff of Hallmarking Fees.

Article III

The Decree comes into force on 1^st January 2004.
